Based on stories by Robert E. Howard, Solomon Kane is a bloodthirsty English pirate who, after taking an Ottoman city in northern Africa, loses his soul to the devil. Kane renounces violence and retires to a monastery in England, struggling to live as a man of peace since then, to atone for his sins. Soon the evil reaches him though, forcing him to come back to the fight.
