Uttam Das (Suriya) is a man whose dreams of becoming a CBI officer are shattered by the corrupt system. Upset, he decides to take revenge by forming a gang who pose as CBI officials to loot money. Uttam assembles a motley group consisting of Jhansi Rani (Ramya Krishnan), Senthil, Sathyan and Shivashankar – all people who have somehow been left affected by the corrupt system. The gang begin to pose as CBI officers and begin conducting fake raids to loot people. When the CBI comes to know, it’s only natural that a heart-thumping cat and mouse chase begins.
