Aghathiyaa story revolves around a struggling director and the mystery elements involved when he goes all out to treat his mother who has been suffering from cancer. Director Aghathiyaa life goes awry due to the cancellation of the shooting of his film putting the life of his mother suffering from cancer in danger. To overcome his financial struggles, he takes a drastic decision which results in untoward incidents in his life. To findout what they are and how it is connected to his girl friend Veena, mysterious doctor Siddhartha (Arjun Sarja) form the crux of the Narration.
