Erra Seenu a theif is mistaken for a god sent due to a series of coincidences thus turning into Krishnananda Swami. Seenu plays along out of the greed for the money that flows in as dakshina. Meanwhile, Vasudha a girl he chances upon during his thieving days returns to worship him and he decides to stay back for her. How Seenu turns a new leaf from his conniving ways, becomes a do-gooder and wins his love, forms the rest of the story.
